Experimenting is fundamental to my creative process. With this series I experimented employing raw linen as my surface and using an Old Masters technique of applying layers of dry pigment mixed with a natural binder. The textures created by the rough linen and the color saturation created something completely new and intriguing, satisfying my need to delve deeper into my understanding of the alchemical processes.
